Barnaby Bright Kickstarter Campaign!

It’s been almost three years since “Wake the Hero,” and the entire journey to get here has been one exciting ride.  From touring all over the US and Europe to winning grand prize in the 2010 SongCircle Songwriting Competition, Barnaby Bright has endured an incredible amount of love, frustration, highs, lows, support, inspiration and incomparable life experience… All of which has been poured into our new record.  Making music is what we were born to do, but sharing it with you is why we breathe.

Every bit of financial support takes us one step closer to being able to fund this album and get it out to the world in every medium possible.  Please take a moment to view our current Kickstarter page, watch our video, and check out the great incentives you’ll receive for your incredible generosity.

Here’s the link to our KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN.

We’ve been simply overwhelmed by the response in just the first few days of the campaign.  Since we launched it on Saturday we’ve raised almost $3,000 of our $10,000 goal, with 75 backers and an amazing amount of positive feedback from our friends and fans.

For your endless support, loyalty and belief in Barnaby Bright we are eternally grateful.  Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

With love and gratitude always,

Becky and Nathan

Happy Spring!

Finally, Spring is here! We hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather this week as much as we are!

The past couple of months have been so exciting for us, and we just wanted to give you a little glimpse of what’s been happening and what’s still to come.

First of all, we have to thank all of our lovely hosts and fans who have come out and supported the last few festivals and shows in the area.  Each performance was more and more heartwarming… there is no greater pleasure for an artist than to see happiness and enjoyment bursting out of the audience as we do what we love.  So to the good people at First Acoustics Folk Concert in Brooklyn and Sanctuary Concerts in Chatham, thank you so much for the opportunity to play your fantastic venues and interact with such supportive fans.  We love you! And thank you Chatham Patch for the great review!

This weekend we are THRILLED to be performing at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts opening for Eileen Iver and Immigrant Soul.  It’s such an honor to be playing on the same stage that so many significant musicians have also played, and we are incredibly thankful to Song Circle Music for helping set that up.

Speaking of Song Circle, with the generous prize received from the 2010 Songwriting Contest, we are finally cruising around in a new (and SAFE) car!  Again, it was such an honor to not only be part of that event but to be chosen as grand prize winners… well, we’re still reeling with excitement.  If you don’t know about this organization take a moment to check out their website, and while you’re there you can read our interview and see the video from when we won this past November!

So what’s next?  Well, we are currently partnered up with Mishara Music, a fantastic company with whom we’ll be releasing our new EP next month.  It will have a couple of new songs and a couple of re-worked songs from “Wake the Hero,” so stay tuned… There is also a NEW Barnaby Bright website going up with lots of fun surprises, and we are locking ourselves in the studio in June to finish our next full length album, set to release this Fall!

Please keep checking in with our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages for all the latest happenings and shows.  This summer is chock full of festivals we’d love to see you at, and come fall we will be out on the road once again (maybe even back to Europe…!).

Thank you always for your love, support and interest in our music and our dream.  We couldn’t do it without you.

Much love,

Becky and Nathan
